About

About Tommy Tang

I'm a data scientist and applied machine-learning developer based in Toronto, with a background in neuroscience and molecular genetics. I work across computer vision, NLP, biomedical AI, and analytics, and I care about building models that are not just accurate but interpretable and useful.

My scientific training taught me to be rigorous about evidence — to design fair evaluations, question results that look too good, and explain findings clearly to people who don't share my background. I bring that same discipline to data and ML work. (Placeholder bio — edit to make it your own.)

  • Neuroscience / Molecular Genetics — University (placeholder). Research and coursework grounding in experimental design and biological data.
  • Applied AI / Data Science — Program (placeholder). Hands-on training in machine learning, deep learning, and analytics.
